Panels
One of the goals of Changing Times-Changing Worlds is to foster communication between different groups. If we share what we’ve learned with others, we can build on this shared knowledge, both showing us what we have in common, and allowing us to build on this shared experience to achieve more than we could have done separately. Our panels are designed to foster those discussions. In the past we’ve had shamanic practitioners from different traditions and backgrounds , and healers of many sorts discussing challenges in healing, diviners and those who express spirit through dance. The first step is to brainstorm ideas for panels, then we pick about 15 and see who wants to participate. You do not need to be a speaker to be on a panel, nor do you have to be a panelist to participate (although we try to recruit those who are knowledgeable in the topic), audience participation is vital, and the discussions often intimate.
This is a list of some of the topics we are considering to have panels on this year. Do contact us if you have other suggestions you think would be good (before mid-May at which point we start reducing it to a final list), and also let us know if you’d like to be on a panel.
